About V5
5th Port Dollymount Venture Group (V5) is open to people aged 18-21 years. At present we have 19 members. Our activities include hiking, camping, cycling and a variety of water activities including kayaking and sailing. On this page you can find key dates from our calender for upcoming events and descriptions & photos of past activities.
Programme
Fortnightly meetings from 20:00 to 21:30 at the Crow's Nest, Dollymount (next scheduled for 11th August).
V5 Summer Trip - walking in Connemara and Co. Clare. Thursday 30th August - Monday 3rd August.
V5 trip to Edinburgh - Saturday 22nd to Tuesday 25th August.

About 5th Port Dollymount Sea Scout Group
Sea Scouts have been active on the Bull Island, Dollymount since 1912. The Scout Group, which is part of Scouting Ireland, now comprises of a Beaver Colony (ages 6 to 8), three Sea Cub Packs (Ages 8 to 11), two Sea Scout Troops (ages 11 to 18) and a Venture Scout Unit (ages 18 to 21). Together with the adult leaders, total membership of the Sea Scout Group is around 250.
